2024–25 Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Title II: Adult Education Family Literacy Act (AEFLA)

Dear Adult Education Administrator:

This is a reminder regarding the Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) requirement for your WIOA, Title II: AEFLA grant. Although much of the CIP preparation happens in collaborative groups within your organization, it is now time to transfer this work to the online system and finalize your CIP for submittal to the California Department of Education (CDE).

Please ensure that an approvable CIP, a required deliverable for reimbursement eligibility, is submitted by Wednesday, April 30, 2025. We are here to support you in this process and want to help you avoid any potential impact on your future awards or the possibility of special conditions being added due to non-submission.

Both the CIP Plan Guide (Word Document) and recorded webinars are available and can be accessed from the CIP web page within the WIOA Navigation menu of the reporting site. Recorded CIP-related webinars hosted by subject matter experts are also available.
