2025–26 Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Title II: Adult Education Family Literacy Act (AEFLA)

Dear Adult Education Administrators:

This message is intended for community colleges and community-based organizations.

This is a friendly reminder that the latest Annual Audit Status Certification (AASC) form is now available on the Reporting Site. Due to the delayed release of the updated form, the submission deadline for both system entry and receipt of signed AASC forms was extended to May 15, 2026. If you have not already submitted your AASC Form, please take a moment to do so now.

The AASC form was recently updated to reflect the revised single audit threshold under the Uniform Guidance revisions effective October 1, 2024. Because applicability is tied to subaward issuance dates, some providers may have AEFLA funds subject to different audit thresholds within the same fiscal year. Agencies can expect subsequent deadlines to occur in October.

If your agency anticipates any issues meeting this deadline or has questions related to this requirement, please contact your assigned fiscal analyst.
